Stopped in for a karaoke night and had a pretty good time. The place was packed and a group of ladies walked in frantic because they were there to celebrate their friend's birthday and there were no tables left! It was just my husband and I at a 4-top table so when they pleaded with us to allow them to steal the other corner, we didn't object. And by the end of the night, we were really glad that we ended up sharing a table with them- so fun!

The drinks are moderately priced. My husband got 6 or 7 Fat Tires and the bill came to just over $40. Our server was really attentive, even as the night went on and she became more and more busy. My husband's beer glass would be close to gone and she would stop by asking if he wanted another every time.

Our visit here was in the middle of January, so of course the patio up top wasn't open, but I imagine it would be a pretty cool hangout spot. This seems like an odd location for a bar, but overall, our experience wasn't bad.

Fun spot with a young crowd.  The drinks are affordable and the staff is friendly.  The real selling point ios the rooftop deck.  Something so refreshing about drinking that high up lol.  Not sure I'll be a regular but wouldn't mind going back.

This is a bar located in a strip mall.

If you don't see anything wrong with that sentence, then you will enjoy spending time here. You will also not mind the ditzy servers, amateur bands, uncomfortable seating, zero ambience, and freshly defrosted food.

Holy Shi* is more like it.

Hot wings and beer at happy hour can be quite addicting. I went with my husband and another couple and we had a blast on a Friday afternoon. Good service, great wings and good beer!

My party started out as 3 people when we arrived at 5:30 on a Friday night.  We looked downstairs for a table for 6 because we knew our crowd would get larger.  However, Happy Hour was in full swing and we could not find any spaces downstairs.  Also, many tables had reservation signs on them.  However, we managed to acquire the living room set (sofa, chairs, & coffee table) on the roof (very comfortable).  Our party soon grew to 8 people.  Our server Fallon was super.  Early in the evening, she was pulling double duty as the rooftop bartender and server.  Fallon was very quick getting our drinks, even though she had to run downstairs to get the draft beer (there are no taps at the bar on the roof).  She mixed our cocktails and poured wine from the rooftop bar.  Fallon seemed to have unlimited energy and was always there when we were ready for another round.  Speaking of draft beer, the Coors Light and Bud Light were very flat (zero head and you could slowly count the occasional bubble rising in the glass).  Our draft beer drinkers had to switch to bottled beer.  The rooftop speaker system and music was very good and we were also watching college football from the flat screen mounted on the wall.  We were having a great time and would have stayed longer, but after the sun went down it got pretty cool for the ladies and the heat from the fire place in the center of the patio did not reach us.  I would suggest getting patio heaters for the rooftop lounge.  After the band started we went downstairs looking for space and there were none, so we went home early.  All in all, we had a good time and will probably come back.  Improvements I'd like to see at the Holy Cow include:  draft beer taps, sun shades or umbrellas (before the sun goes down), and patio heaters at the rooftop lounge.

Weak selection of beer, uncomfortable seating, and real slow service.  I can get by once in a while with average beer and uncomfortable seating.....but consistently poor/slow service?  No way.  I've tried this place 3 times and it's always the same.

This place blows!!  Just minutes after arriving, I used my phone to take a picture of the bar area (no people were in the photo) for Yelp.  A second later, someone who never identified herself approached the table and asked why I was taking a photo and said "they don't allow photos for the privacy of their guests."  I repeated that it was just a photo for Yelp, and she became more adamant about "the privacy of their guests" and insisted that I stop taking pictures.  Honestly, the whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth, and I called over the server to cancel our order and just get out of there.  She told me the woman who had spoken to me was the manager who, by the way, NEVER did identify herself.  After our order was cancelled, the "manager" came back to say she was sorry she had offended me, and again, repeated the line about the privacy of their guests which really just started to get on my nerves.  I asked why she hadn't ever identified herself when she first approached the table since I had no idea who she was, and instead of responding in a professional manner, she turned it around like it was my fault somehow and said she would have appreciated knowing I was going to take pictures and that she could tell me whatever I wanted to know about the business.  Never once did she say who she was, what the big deal was over 1 photo of their bar area, or anything.  The whole thing was really strange, like they had something to hide or like I had violated some unwritten rule.  To be quite honest, she somewhat hostile, and if they don't want anyone using their camera phone in their bar, they should post it at the entrance.  Give me a break.  You've never been out with your friends and snapped a photo of everyone having a good time?  Apparently, you can't at this place.  I won't be back, and I would advise anyone who wants to have a good time to go elsewhere.  We have lots of great bars and restaurants in the Stetson Hills area where patrons are not "policed" by rude and unwelcoming staff over something as innocent as a quick snap of the place.

Besides the atmosphere this place is horrible! They should stick to being a bar only and not serve food..the food and service is horrible

Just found the place on vacation and will be a long time customer!  Janell and AJ really know how to make some drinks!  Plus how can you beat "buy a shot, shoot to win a shot"?  Nerf basketball hoop behind the bar to try and get a freebie.  Karaoke on Wednesdays, live bands on the weekends, and fair pricing make this my favorite bar in town.

Holy Cow is the perfect place to go if you and your "roid" fueled buddies want to relive your frat boy days by playing beer pong. HCP&G is located in a strip mall, and rightfully so. The interior is super cheesy, and cheap looking, even though they were going for "hip" I'm sure.

The one and only waitress didn't acknowledge my friend and I for about 5 minutes, and when she did she basically said "What do you want?"  Um, how about a menu for starters? After ordering affordably priced beer ($3) it took her about another 10 minutes to get said beer to our table. We ordered the chicken nachos at her suggestion... I've had better nachos from convenience stores...

The waitress came by later to check on us and while flirting with us apologized for the bar being lame. She suggested we come back another night. She promised the atmosphere would be better. First impressions are hugely important: I was turned off.

Oh well. So much for the radio ads and the hype. Holy Cow! this place sucks.

the place is pretty chill. conveniently located by my house. karaoke night was fun, although you'd think they'd have drink specials on karaoke night.  they don't. I'd rather drive a couple-few more miles to get decent prices.  it's the principle. :). oh, looking forward to checking out the rooftop bar this spring.

it was my intention to skip to a larger bar. I was unable to leave.... it was so good. Service, Food, atmosphere was great. I found a gem. It is up to you to see if it was this great.... I know I will be back sooner than planned. It's the burger I am going for next. The wings and sliders were better than expected. Oh yeh, Monday nights are poker nights.

Possibly my new favorite for Colorado Springs!
This recently opened, smallish strip mall bar is WAY more than meets the eye from the outside.
Unfortunately- my phone was near death when I parked in front of Holy Cow. I did get to take two photos of the outside. I hope that this might help others to find this new gem of the Stetson Hills area.

This place is so new- they have menus but no website yet!

    Inside you will find:
    Great Food
    Sports Bar Atmosphere
Live Music with a great stage and lighting (there are guitars integrated into the lighting rig!)
    Friendly staff providing great service
Plenty TV's to see your favorite team play.

They are opening up a rooftop bar this spring!

Go check this place out- its an odd location (behind the Midas Car Service-next to Jimmy Johns in the small strip center building)

I will definitely stop back in on my next trip to Colorado Springs-I'll make sure to charge my phone so I can take more pics and post up a mobile Yelp update.
