Was treated to dinner here on a Sunday evening by a friend. Â Glad it wasn't my money going to this establishment. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a stuffed potato. Â The sandwich arrived open bunned with the lettuce, tomato, and red onion on one half and the chicken on the other bun. Â The chicken had a small pool of grease on top and the bottom bun was soggy. Â My idea of a stuffed potato is different than theirs I guess. I expected a baked potato with butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon and chives. Â What I got was the size of a potato skin with the potato still in it with all the required toppings. Â Overpriced for the quality of the food. Â I don't believe I will ever eat here again and I don't see this restaurant being around for long.
Review Source:I have visited for both lunch and dinner. My lunch was the spaghetti parm. It was very good. There was actually too much to eat, for a lunch portion. It actually would have been better to have flattened 1 breast and left the second off (a much more fitting lunch portion).
On my dinner visit I enjoyed the baby back ribs. Unfortunately, they are not smoked (a bit of a hickory smoke hound here), but they were, nonetheless, cooked very well. They were tender and were not drowning in sauce, as lesser cooks will often do.
The wait staff has always been super courteous and helpful. They seem to know the menu well, which is always a plus.
This place is so awful! Â My steak was way over cooked and my shrimp was raw. Â The service was so slow and unfriendly. Â The manager asked everyone how their meal was except for us. Â I was so disappointed. Â I was really hoping for a great restaurant in Lincolnton. This place was like a bad dream! Â So awful!!!!
Review Source:Oh so good! Â Took my daughter to Homesteads for Easter dinner. Â Wow! This sure isn't Ryan's anymore. Â Very comfortable atmosphere and more than pleasant staff. Â As soon as we ordered, we had fresh, hot and crazy delish cheese and garlic biscuits. Â Had to force ourselves to stop eating them for fear of not having room for anything else. Â We promptly received our appetizer - The Double Dip. Â Homesteads does a really nice twist on the way they serve the common spinach dip. Â First, they serve both a spinach dip and a crab dip - both of which are to die for. Â But my favorite thing they do with this app is they serve the double dip with crispy won tons sprinkled with a little Parmesan. Â Ugh! Â So good! Â The daughter ordered steak tips with mushroom sauce and mashed new potatoes. Â I ordered the pork ribeye. Â Really, really good! Â The pork ribeye was much smaller than I had anticipated, but the tenderness and flavor more than made up for it. Â And besides - we walked out with two to-go containers, so it wasn't like we went hungry. Â
Homesteads was such a refreshingly good experience. Â This is what Lincolnton has needed for SO long. Â I hope everyone does their part to keep them in business. Â I intend to do mine.
