Take out review: Â This restaurant gave me the largest Chinese take out box I've ever seen. Â You know, the white paper one that has 4 flaps on top, except you can fit a small child in this one. Â Ok, I might be exaggerating a little, but it's bigger than the large box at other places. Â Suffice it to say, the portions here are large and you get a lot of food for a reasonable price.
Pan Fried Noodle - They use thin egg noodles in this dish and it comes with a thick sauce. Â It was good if that's the kind of dish you are expecting, and tastes even better the next day when the flavor has soaked into the noodles. Â $8
Seafood combination - Comes with shrimp (very bright pink ones), scallops, lobster, imitation crab meat, broccoli, pea pods, baby corns, mushrooms and water chestnut in the standard white sauce. Â It's definitely loaded with seafood for $12.
Overall, food was decent and service was fast and friendly.
Location: Indian Trail Court stripmall, next to DMV.
We used to frequent another very "popular" Chinese take-out establishment in the Fox Valley area. Â But when a flyer showed up on our doorstep for a take-out place within 10 minutes of where we live, we thought we'd give it a try.
We are now loyal Hong Kong Inn patrons!
The "popular" place's food had gotten bland and all too predictable. Â Hong Kong Inn's food is fresh, fast, and delicious, and the menu is expansive. Â I love Schezwan Chinese, and Hong Kong Inn delivers the flavor and the heat.
We've never eaten in, but the take-out/delivery is yummy.
Do-jeh to Hong Kong Inn!
