Hooters

Well I broke my cherry and went to the local Hooters. My good friend and my real estate agent  rave about the chicken  wings. And Hooters also claimed to have a full bar.

EHHHHHHHHH on both counts            . No full bar... They did not have a brandy available.
I requested from my perky blonde waitress,Kara, who did a outstanding job..... Kara being a youngster had no idea what a Brandy separator was. For you less traveled it is a adult type chocolate drink.  ( cream, Kahlua & brandy) when stirred taste like chocolate milk..  Any way I kept it simple and got a tequila sunrise. Good on tequila maybe a touch more sunrise. I drank it quick and no buzz.  (hmmmmm short on the booze ????!!!!

I was there for the Labor Day special 20 wings 10 bucks. I order the hot and 911 flavors with blue cheese. WRONGGGGGGGGGGG. The blue cheese was thin and watery. It should have been much thicker. Taste so -so.
911 flavor taste ok but it SUCK when it came to spicy. The  heat its maybe a step above a medium.

Hot.... though good flavor not hot at all.

A hot flavor should get your attention & a so call 911 should make you sweat

THEY FAILED MISERABLY ON BOTH COUNTS. Maybe the customer base are just wimpy. But in any chefs book they failed for any heat. Tabasco is much hotter. And NO ONE who likes hot food would classified that as 911  heat.

Not too sure if I will go back though the burgers looked tempting.

Breaking my cherry was disappointing to say the least.  :-(

I've gotten better food at gas stations, so why do I go?
I can't explain  craving for a quarter pounder with cheese either but sometimes I just want a buffalo chicken sandwich and chilli cheese fries served by  a cute fake friendly hooter's girl.
If that's wrong, too bad.

What? I'm not above Hooters. Besides, they have Yuengling here.
