Bill's review is pretty accurate, although they closed the adjoining lounge (it is now Lira Internet Cafe).
The BLT is really good, if you can deal with white bread and mayo. Â My grandmother loves the shrimp salad, although there was too much iceberg lettuce in the salads for my taste. Â The salads are really large.
There was a fish and chips special the day I went and my onion rings tasted like fish, so I think they are using the same oil for everything. Â Overall, this place is okay for what it is, but I don't really like that kind of food, so I probably wouldn't go back if I had a choice, like the other reviewer Bill M.
This place appears to have been here forever, with little updating inside. Â It is located outside Lodi. Â Their menu contains standard American food. Â There's an attached lounge with outdoor seating that could be fun. Â The crowd in the restaurant was mostly 60+ years old.
Simple, home-cooking. Â It didn't taste bad, I didn't get sick. Â I had the daily special (pasta = lasagna). Â The sauce was very basic, the noodles were mushy and there was very little meat. Â The salad was average and the garlic toast was more like toast sans garlic.
The story that brought me here made the experience all very worthwhile, but I would not go back unless there were no other options.
The service was very good.
