The Horse & Plow

This place was good.  Nothing special.  Everybody seems to love the cheese curds in their reviews, but husband and I didn't think they were all that great.   There was too much puffy batter around the curds, which detracted from the cheese itself.  I had a burger, which was awesome, as I've come to expect having ordered them via room service before.  Great flavor.  Husband had the prime rib steak and cheese sandwich, which was ok, not great flavor, a little too salty (and I like salt). Fries were ok.  Service was ok.  Not bad for the price, but again, nothing super special.

The Horse & Plow was great.  The perch was good and the atmosphere was nice.  Probably not the place to go for health food but for good tasty hearty pub food, it was good all around.

I came to this place for Superbowl Sunday expecting a 5 star buffet , very disappointed.  The servers are friendly and very attentive but the food was less than average.  Average chili, lots of buns to load up with really bad ingredients.  Dessert not too exciting either.
