Horseshoe Bend Bistro and Taphouse

Excellent food, excellent service!  We had a birthday celebration and couldn't have asked for a better experience!  The food was not only great, but we could order full and half orders. And the staff was attentive and friendly without being overbearing.  WONDERFUL!!  Well worth a drive to this sweet little town nestled next to a horse shoe bend in the James River!!

Wow, we sure hope this one has staying power!  Four of us foodies had a wonderful meal there that vastly exceeded expectations (remember, this is Scottsville).  What a step up from anything we had under prior managements, with interesting ingredients and preparation, great presentation, wonderful service (from the owners, no less), and a great atmosphere.  This will definitely be a regular stop.

Excellent, new restaurant in Scottsville (formerly known as 330 Valley Street), with great managers and amazing chef.  Fantastic food, in comfortable, rustic surroundings.  Choice of dining side or bar side - table by the fireplace is the best spot in the house!  Wide selection of craft brews on tap.
