This is my favorite places to eat. Everything I have ever tried at this joint is off the charts with regard to flavor and portion size, with a rustic charm that is hard to find anywhere. Although it is a little out of the way it is well worth the trip at just 20-30 minute south of Klamath Falls. Run by the Burcher family; Jeff and and his sons, Keefe and Mackay, the food and service is out of this world, I kid you not, you will not regret going here. Some of my favorites are; their veggie omelet, the "Burcher" Benedict (poached eggs, slabs of bacon, spinach, homemade hollandaise sauce... it's ridiculous!), their waffle is crazy good too (made in some 100+ year-old cast iron waffle iron), and of course their prime rib, a hunk of meat that would make any vegetarian run for their mommy. They like to serve everything up a little on the rare side, so it's extra yummy! I tend to get a side of their hollandaise with just about everything I order, unless of course it comes with it already. Chef Jeff and his grown cheflings will come out and visit with you if they're not too slammed, they can be quite busy, and the waitresses make sure you've got all you need without hovering. If only they were open everyday, alas these men all have 9-5 jobs too and run this restaurant out of love and it shows! Â It's old world food with twist, feasts fit for a king or a starving artist. Call before you head down to make sure they are open, as they're a free spirited bunch of story-telling Irishmen, so they could be down at a Giants game or off with the family and closed for the weekend. They host special events too, like weddings and what not. The usual hours of operations are Friday 12-2pm and 5-10pm, Saturday 5-10pm and Sunday 9am-2pm. They also own a B&B up the street called Hospitality Bed & Breakfast. Put this place on your bucket list!
