Hotel Harry's Restaurant

Well....I feel really badly giving this place one star.....especially since when we drove into Downtown Versailles looking for a place, there was literally NOTHING open anywhere that served food. This was basically our only option, and we were starving, so I should be nice and give it an extra star since it was the only place that could feed us at the time, BUT the food really was just not good. Even my boyfriend who is known for "loving everything" was not impressed in the least bit.

The one good thing there, their fries, which I am sure were probably made from a frozen bag of shoestring fries, but we wished we had just ordered that and nothing else. We got a chicken sandwich with bbq sauce, but that bbq sauce was blah blah blah and we were in Kentucky! You would think bbq sauce wouldn't be too hard to mess up here! And the chicken was blah too. We also got this three salad sampler with three types of salad including this pimento cheese one which was just a glob of cheese with no spices or flavor this macaroni salad that had so much mayo or whatever on it there were hardly any noodles and one other salad that now thinking about it I cannot even remember what it was, which isn't really a good sign about their food at all.

If you have to eat in Versailles, hope that somewhere else is open, because although the people that work here are so nice, and so sweet, this place is for an older, local crowd, and for people who actually like good tasting food.....

Sorry Versailles....
