I've been to a good portion of the Hot Shots in the area, and found that I tend to like this one the best. So Far.
First of all, the darts area is kind off back in the corner, and doesn't get much foot traffic, and can't get any foot traffic through the darts area like a few other places. Kind of breaks up the game if you have to stop so someone can walk through.
The service is always good, I've had to wait a few times during shift change, but it's never been a big deal, and even was given a free drink because I had to wait too long. Personally I didn't even notice.
The board are always in great shape and I've never had to go looking for chalk or towels to keep score.
Any time that I have ordered food, it's shown up almost instantly! Â
Overall a great place to play darts, (or pool), and kick back with some friends!
It is a known fact Ninja's have a weakness for big hooters. You can only imagine the shock walking into Hotshots for the first time. Nothing say's Sports Bar more than scantly dressed waitresses, wall to wall TV in High Definition with every sport imaginable playing and Beer! Easily a successful formula if you ask me.
This Ninja just ended a late match and decided to join some of his buddies for a late drink. Our waitress Andrea was our lovely server. The menu after 10pm is limited to only things that can be deep fried. This Ninja decided to try their tacos. It was greasy, the taste was bland, and this Ninja didn't care because his attention was obviously not on the Taco's. You see, it doesn't even matter if the food sucks or were cooked in day old grease because when you have half naked girls walking around and beer you don't care.
Around midnight a of couple of good looking ladies with equally if not bigger hooters decided to join us at the bar. They immediately attracted the attention from the 20 other male patrons there. The ladies wanted to hear some tunes and conveniently enough Hotshots has an awesome juke box filled with all your latest hits. This Ninja knew exactly what to play so I selected the unofficial Ninja them song with Buck Cherry "Crazy Bit*h". It definitely livened up the place. Around quarter to one it's obvious Hotshots has had enough of this Ninja. You know they want you out of there when the check arrives and you didn't ask for it. I got the hint!
This was my first time at Hotshots and the place has an ambiance similar of that of any chain sports bar. Walls cluttered with sports memorabilia and neon beer signs. The food is terrible, mostly deep fried, hot wings are a major staple, loud music and ice cold beer. Let's not forget the hot scantily clad waitresses with big hooters.
Hotshots you get 4 Ninja stars! I cannot elaborate anymore as to why I am giving you 4 Ninja stars except the fact that last thing ingrained in this Ninja's mind is Andrea's hooters. I can't honestly say if I am rating her hooters or your service, food, beer etc...
Want to earn the coveted 5 Ninja stars? Well, umm... lap dances! Lap dances will definitely earn you that 5 stars.
Went in here Halloween weekend. Their website made it sound like they were going to be having a big event or something, or that this was a place to go to drink and get rowdy. Walked in and the place was dead. Just blaring a game really loud and barely anyone there. Walked in and walked out. Can't judge on food but atmosphere sucked and the staff just gave rude stares (sorry some of us still dress up for Halloween....)
Review Source:I'll say I went exclusively for food so I can't really comment on the bar scene part of it. Â Boyfriend found online they had a cheesesteak (he's obsessed) so he wanted to go. Â We went and he got the cheesesteak, I got a hamburger that was sandwiched between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches (hello artery clogger) and we both left feeling very "eh" about it. Â I don't mind the skimpily dressed servers or any of that... the food just simply was not up to standards. Â I would have sooner stopped for McDonalds than gone here.
Review Source:Me and a couple friends of mine grabbed lunch here last Friday and I have to say nothing has changed since my last trip in which is a good thing in my opinion. Â I ordered one of their 9" one topping pizzas and an order of their boneless wings. Â
I've had the pizza many times so I knew exactly what I was getting. Â It's a very thin crust so a 9" pizza is not exactly hearty. Â I have enjoyed their wings on many occasions, but had ever tried their boneless wings. Â Theoretically they should be the same, but how often does that argument fail. Â While I liked the boneless wings as it let me not make a mess since I had to go back to work, I don't think they had as much wing sauce and flavor was their traditional wing counterparts. Â
Hot Shots does not try to be something it is not. Â It's a sports bar that serves up some pretty tasty food and offers a bunch of TVs to watch a variety of sports programming on. Â I know I'll be back, question is just when...
Not bad for Ofallon for sports and their food specials like double grilled cheese sandwich will for sure give you a heartattack but it's Yum! Some ok girls but some with too small of shorts which made it look like,"when cottage cheese attacks" hubbys quote not mine! Different food. Fun to watch sports. I just still prefer Buffalo Wild Wings.
