It was so cheap & had a great time. Brick, small town dirty basement smelling bar, just how I like to party. The Koffin Kats were playing with Benedict Arnold for only $5.00 and the bar was like $2.00 beers. We drove over from St. Louis on the Sunday night before Labor Day. We ate across the street at this little pizza place named Fridays and walked back over to see the bands that started around 10:30pm. Everyone one super nice, except this little fem type guy that was working the door. He wanted to mark my hand up with permanent marker. I asked him nicely not to. If I drive back into St. Louis from Illinois on a holiday weekend and get pulled over every cop is gonna know I've just been to a bar venue by looking at my hand, NOT COOL! Â It's not like everyone in the place didn't notice me I am a bald punk rock girl with bright red bangs. The little guy grabbed my hand and marked me up as I was walking in, I would have left, but the bands were so worth it to stay. Maybe get wrist bands that people can tear off before they drive. You can't smoke cigarettes in there because they are so harmful, but you can put permanet marker all over my sensitive skin?
