Never have I been so disappointed about a restaraunt.
I've heard so many good things about their buffalo chicken pizza so I decided to order it, medium, thin crust. I went in to pick it up, and when I got home and opened the box I could not believe this was what people had recommended to me. It was more of a glob of greasy cheese, sprinkled with buffalo chicken here and there than an actual pizza. Not to mention they failed to cut the pizza for me. The only thing that saved this review from being one star is the friendly staff. I will not be coming here again, sadly.
Me and my friends call this place 'Fish Chicken Pizza Burgers'. Because that's what the sign says, and not actually Gateway. I always get the pizzas, thin crust and hand tossed are both excellent and it's price for value the best pizza in the area. Call ahead, or you may wait a while. Very friendly owner.
Review Source:in the food desert that is collinsville this little place actually makes food by hand. it is a one man show. his shop is clearly an ex-subway. on my first stop i got the gyro. ohhh...that was nice. nice grinds. the next time i got a pizza. organic whole grain crust with olive oil mixed into the crust. bingo.
he makes his food slow. he is shorthanded. but it is done well. some folks say it is in a sketchy area (down by the catsup bottle). i go there for lunch and never have a speck of trouble.
