The only thing Irish about this place is the name. The grilled teriyaki garlic wings were good and the seasoned fries were just a little above normal expectations. The club sandwich was average. Each meal was about $10 without drinks.
The service could use improvements. I asked the server if there were any drink specials and received a quick unfriendly NO as if I had previously just asked or if no such a thing ever existed. She mixed up our credit cards where I had a drink and the other gentleman at the table had no drinks. She was very short with us overall. There were crowds of people smoking outside of the front door.
Other than the service, smoke, and lack of anything Irish the place was actually decent.
This place is a staple in Ormond Beach, with a new location that opened within the past year or two. Â This is the original location, and it is full of local charm. Â The food is great and the service is just the same, making it a place to visit each time my sister and I head back home to visit family or friends. Â As usual, I stick to my staple of grilled cheese and fries. Â DELICIOUS! Â They butter the bread and grill it nice and golden brown. Â Make sure to go with the seasoned fries, as they are wonderfully amazing and delicious and mmmmm.
