The Hub is by far the best bar in Centralia.  If you're looking for greasy bar food and cheap drinks, this is your place. Looking to get get shitty drunk?  The Hub is perfect for that too! The staff is super friendly and the service is fast.  Personally, my favorite nights are during the week, the bar is empty you can find yourself in weird conversations with either the bartender or one of the patrons. The jukebox is great too; it's a lot of classic rock mixed with some obscurity. Oh yes and a little bit of Frank Sinatra as well! This place isn't bad for groups; however, the bar is a bit small so it does get crowded on the weekends. The music on weekends gets cranked up to an unbearable volume that ruins your ability to hold a conversation with anyone.   The scene you get on the weekends can usually kill the great vibe.  The crowd consist's mostly of rednecks from around Lewis County, coming to the "big city" to get crazy drunk and act super obnoxious.  Don't come to The Hub if women are on your mind,  as they are simply nonexistent in Centralia. Overall, great chill bar, I always make an attempt to visit when I'm in town.

I have been a frequent customer of The Hub for several years. The service I have received there has always been great. I am confused by the review of this establishment by a fellow yelper who claims they were triple charged for drinks and food. Not only am I not sure how this could happen (as it seems to be such a gross discrepancy) I don't understand how someone could just accept a bill with such a supposed overcharge and sign for it anyway. To my knowledge, the bartenders at The Hub have always been quick to remedy any mistakes made to food or drink orders. Although I have never had occasion to question the charges on any tab presented to me, I am sure that any such situation would be handled in a friendly manner. The menu at The Hub includes choices typical of what appeals to the bar crowd that frequents. I have ordered many menu items and have to say it falls into the "above average" category for quality and consistency. Prices are at or below average for the quality of food preparation and service provided. If you are looking for a great casual place to get a drink and some good late night bar eats The Hub is a must stop when you are in Centralia. In all honesty I must agree with another fellow yelper that it can be loud and echo-y at times (especially during a live music event). If loud isn't your thing, as it sometimes isn't for me, then show up early for a well mixed drink and great handmade pizza or fantastic burger. You will surely be glad to experience one of Centralia's few remaining old school haunts.

Figured i should do an update. Our band plays here a lot. We are welcomed every time, no matter how drunk we acted the last time we were in.  Supportive to touring bands, they get fed and paid. Great grill food, burgers and fries.  They have their own sound system, so no worries there either.  A bit echo-y just because of the way the place is.  Great mood, good times every time we're in.

I think this place has fed me more times then my mother has in the years since I've turned 21. The breakfast portions are huge and perfect for curing the hangover you got from there the night before, I always go straight for the omelets and usually can't finish the whole damn thing! The specials are the best part, often they have things you wouldn't expect to see at a local dive bar (chantrelle mushroom omelet, whaaat??) or good ol' comfort food (tatter tot casserole, meatloaf). The bartenders are all amazing people and typically make the experience worth it just in themselves. Strong pours when it comes to liquor, so if you're a lightweight watch out! Two of those and you're tanked. Definitely be sure to stop by for Thursday Steak Night, an awesome steak, salad and a baked potato for I think $11 (or $12 maybe) can't be beat!

Perfect place to go if you're not familiar to Centralia, very neiborhoody place, the people are very talkative and the staff is friendly.
The selection is average, but not lacking. Didn't try any food.
This will be where I go for a drink next time I'm in Centralia.

Dropped in with some friends to take a driving break between Portland and Seattle.  I believe when you google "full service" a photo of the bartendress comes up.  Not only did she serve all the tables and the bar, she made all the drinks and all the food.  She was the only person working in the whole place and it was keeping her moving.  But she didn't miss a beat.

Great free entertainment, aka People Watching.  Nothing like grandma almost getting in a fight while her 5-year-old grand-daughter is being entertained playing pool.  I did not realize this was an all-ages establishment.

The burgers are great and huge.  But you knew they would be as soon as you walked in the door.

I've been coming to the Hub for years...sometimes for beverages, sometimes for food and sometimes for both. I would call the Hub a dive bar, but in a good way...
The Hub has great breakfasts...my fave is the chicken fried steak and eggs, hash browns, toast and GRAVY! The biscuits (HUGE) and gravy is another breakfast item I would recommend. There are always daily specials, so check the board inside to see what's cooking that day. The lunch crowd is fairly steady as is breakfast crowd on the weekends. The service is pretty good for both the food and bevies.
As far as beverages go, the Hub has 6 or 7 beers on tap. The standard American swill, along with 4 microbrews. The cooler has good selection of  bottles and cans as well. There is a full bar, and the drinks are free poured and usually on the generous side.
Most of the time one of the cable radio stations is on the sound system...anything from blues, oldies, grunge, classic rock...depends on who is working. During a local sporting event the TVs are on and the music is off. Free Wi-Fi as well!
There is a small outdoor patio out back for those of you who enjoy the great outdoors while you imbibe. If you're lucky you might even hear a train go by...LOL
