The Ruban was beyond phenomenal like taking a long walk of a short pier (in a good way) and the Cuban was slap yo mama good. The Ono sandwich made me happier than a witch in a broom factory. And the bushwhacker drink, helped me write this review.

Great place to grab a sandwich or beer with some friends. It's tucked away off the road and a bit hard to find. Great casual atmosphere and delicious food.

A great kick back location, and amazing sandwiches, that's what you get at Hub Stacey's. Your not necessarily on the water, and your not really in the wood's, your more surrounded by parked cars between the tree's; however, as soon as you enter the deck of the Hub, your on the water and in the woods of this outdoor Florida restaurant, so don't venture inside, stay outside and relax.

The waitstaff at the Hub, well I've certainly had a better group, but I did have nothing to do all day. The gal who was waiting on us seemed lost, she disappeared a lot. She wan't bad, but she certainly wasn't stellar.

Hub Stacey's offers a variety of different sandwiches, like a Cuban or Muffalatta. Now being from South Florida, I've had dozen's upon dozen's of Cuban sandwiches, Elena Ruth Sandwiches and Media Noche sandwiches, I've never seen them duplicated up here, you all just can't get the bread right. I have never had a Muffelatta, I've seen them but never had one so today was the day.

Eating the Muff was no easy task, as this muff was huge, no dinner tonight for me, this muff with it's salty goodness filled me up, and do to it's salt content caused me to drink more. It was a huge sandwich and I can only assume well prepared. Other items I really liked was the hummus, they have it down pat, and the warm pita bread was an added plus. I'd like to go back again and try the Cuban, but I kinda now think that even if the Cuban there is not like the Cuban in South Florida, Hub Stacey's Cuban will win out!

This place had the slowest service.  Took over thirty minutes to pour some chips and pace picante into a bowl.  The food took about forty minutes to show up.  They never refilled our water so I got up, grabbed the pitcher, and filled our water at the table.  What amazed me was nobody even noticed me filling my own water.  Took about ten minutes to get our bill after sitting around waiting and had to ask the server for it as she quickly was running by.  Maybe try could mount some flare guns at the table to provide better service.  The food was typical bar food and average.  I wouldn't go back if I lived here. I was surprised by the high ratings.  Maybe we just had an off encounter.  Many better places to eat in this area based in my visit.

I would never have found this place if it wasn't for my bf who took me here. I had my doubts, but my bf said the food would not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious! I had the loaded fries (they were the best I've ever eaten) and the chicken tender basket. My bf had the Hubba Bubba burger and the special soup. The wait for the food was a little long but the food was worth it.

    Great Place!!!
We were tired of seafood and on the recommendation of one of the rangers at Big Lagoon St Park we decided to give it a try.  Except for tuna there was no seafood. In sight.  I tried the Hubba Bubba which I loved.  Don't be put off by the gravy in the description.  It is not awash in gravy just added like steak sauce.  It is fantastic.  My husband had a cheeseburger but after a taste of ole Bubba that was his order when we went back two days later with our friends.

The beer is ice cold and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.  We sat inside as it was breezy and we are Floridians...thin blood.

Don't know if we will be back that way but if we do will return to Hub Stacy's.

This place seems to be a really popular place for the locals, even in the off season. The wait staff and customers are always friendly and happy to have conversation. The food is also outstanding and inexpensive for the amount you get. They have live music several days a week which makes the place even better. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes the place is a little understaffed and can be a bit slow. Definitely my favorite local place to eat and have a few drinks.

What a peculiar little gem this place is!   This is definitely not somewhere you'd ever just stumble into... We specifically ventured in here after a strong recommendation from a trusted foodie friend.

After a long day at Perdido Key/Johnson's Beach, we were hungry and thirsty for some cold beer.  Hub Stacey's handled both!

Food:  We both ordered the Cuban Sandwich.  Pretty tasty, though a little too much cheese.

Drinks:  Extra, extra cold Stella... Just the way i like it!

Ambiance:  Well, it's a little "rough around the edges".  Biker gang eating lunch out front on the patio, and the inside seating area is dark and biker-bar-ish.  This is not where you go for a romantic date.

Prices:  Extremely reasonable, i think lunch for 2 with 2 beers was under $20 (not including tip).

We will definitely come back !
