In the year-and-a-half interim between my last update and now, I have had many sandwiches and other meals at Tippy's. Â You may not trust my judgment based on some of my other contrarian reviews, Â but I promise you that Tippy's has one of the best burgers in Pcola. Â Thick, juicy, full of flavor, and comes with perfectly cooked fries for $7.95 (I think). Â I don't know how much they weigh, but I would guess around 1/2 pound. Â I always leave knowing that I had a lot to eat. Â If you haven't yet tried this place, you should if you like a great burger.
Review Source:Yo - check it out - Tippy's Tavern is off the chain. OK, OK - enough of the American Idol quotes.
I made a new discovery this week - Tippy's Tavern on Barrancas Ave. Tippy's has long been a local watering hole favored by the westside peeps. But the really exciting news is that Tippy's in just 6 weeks into a brand new restaurant!
Tippy's is serving up a great selection of American style cuisine including grilled/fried fish, a basic cheeseburger, fries, chili by the bowl, and a GREAT fried pickle appetizer.
The food was hot & tasty, and the prices were very reasonable.
Restaurant hours are only Wednesday-Sunday from 11am-8pm, so time your visit correctly.
And sadly, Tippy's has declared themselves to be non-dog friendly (even though they have a great outdoor patio area with a side gate for access). So be sure to leave your fur feathered friends at home.
