Azalea Lounge

Although the Az(zzzzzzz) can be as smoky as other dive bars, and it's true that sometimes the bartenders can be colossal dicks, I've had some great times here.  I don't think that I would say that I've ever seen it crowded, but I've seen it busy at the bar.

Bring cash, as you can't use debit or credit.  There's no food within, so arrive with vittles in your tummy.

Never seen a fight here, but if it's after 11 or so, the possibility of the drunks in here getting a wild hair to engage in MMA is approximately zero.

Go check it out.  Some people love it, some people hate it, but it's a solid bar with lots of history and even if you are from out of town, you won't be shunned.
