850 Open Water

Drinks were decent, service was extremely lacking. The bar was slow. When we decided to get food, I asked a waitress if we could have a menu and she told me I could go get the menus myself (not rudely but it was awkward).  Then never came back,  asked again to be waited on... was told she would find us a server... that never happened. .. left frustrated 30 minutes later. It just seems like they can't handle the size of their own place.

In Pensacola for business and stopped by here for dinner one night.  Super casual atmosphere with good service.  I got the steamed crab legs and they were some of the best I've ever had.  Everything we ordered was done perfectly and tasted great.  Would definitely recommend.

I was passing through Pensacola and went with some friends to this new restaurant downtown.  Their niche is to specialize in steamed seafood so that is what we all had.  I really enjoyed my meal and the casual atmosphere. So did my dining partners.  Staff was very friendly and attentive.  I consider this an excellent choice for a change of pace, and an especially good choice for those avoiding grains or gluten.  I just wish there was something similar in Austin.
