Huddle House

Folkston does not have many resturants that are open for business Sunday morning.   If I have the story right, about six years ago the folks that operated a Huddle House closed it down and re-opened it as "Michael's Deli."  It was a order at the counter, pick it up, and sit at booths type of operation.   The food was good and in-expensive.  A couple of months ago they closed Michael's and then remodeled and reopened it this week as a Huddle House.   While the meals are a little more expensive, they are excellent, and they now have table service, as well as, a small counter.   The place was super busy this Sunday morning but the wait staff did a stellar job of taking and serving orders, filling coffee cups, and spreading good cheer.   It's good to, once again, have a great place to have breakfast with friends after Sunday services.
