Huey's Bar

Yes this place is a dive.  If you are looking for atmosphere try Bradys.  If you are looking for dollar tap beers, strong drinks and a game of pool then this is the place.  The cronies that frequent the establishment (of which I am one)can sometimes be a little rough around the edges, as can the bartenders now that I think about it.  This place has a bad reputation that may or may not be deserved, that is up to you to decide.  If you are a fan of dives, cheap booze and loud jukeboxes then this bar is worth a look.

This bar is unquestionably a dive, but it is worth a visit. We stopped in for a drink the other night with friends from Minneapolis and we ended up staying for a couple drinks and a game of pool. There is nothing extraordinary about Huey's, but the bartender was friendly and they had Busch light and Milwaukee's Best light on tap which I had never seen before--only $1 each for a pint.

The locals were not friendly and the bar is small. If you like hole in the wall places, this one is cheap and fun! If the blonde bartender is working, ask for the "O" shot-- SO GOOD!!!
