Hunt Club the

This place has really gone downhill over the past few years.  The quality of food isn't up to par.  The last two times I've been, my meal arrived lukewarm at best.  Even when the place is nearly empty, it takes FOREVER for your food to get served.   I don't know if the kitchen is the hold up or the wait staff or both.  
The service is dreadful.   Takes ages to get your food, refills, to get checked on, and especially to get your bill and cash out.   Do not come here if you have any sort of time constraint!

Terrible food and service. Last two times there food was awful. Had BLT and bacon was rubbery, tried the 'seafood' quesadilla, all imitation. Way overpriced. Don't plan on returning....ever.

Wow. What a disappointment.

My friends had been talking about going to the Hunt Club and talked it up highly after going there for lunch a couple weeks ago. I was in town for the weekend, so we went on a Friday night for dinner - the atmosphere was great, but the food and service was AWFUL!  

Three of the four of our meals (all fish) were cold. My deep-fried cod was RAW. When we alerted our server to this, she took the meals back to the kitchen. Since we were seated by the kitchen, we watched the cook put our meals in the microwave to warm them. If you've ever had deep-fried fish before, you know that this is a no-no. The fish came back and was just a god-awful raw, rubbery and greasy mess. Unfortunately, our server put our plates down and dashed, never to be seen again. We had to ask a bus boy for a manager.

The manager gave us 25% off of our meals and offered free dessert. I told her that we  weren't ready for dessert when our meals had been inedible. She offered nothing other than the 25% off and that she'd "talk to her cooks about the preparation of the meal."

Unfortunately, even after the discount, our bill still came to $60 for inedible food. What a waste. I won't be visiting the Hunt Club in Jackson again.
