Great good! Great club sandwich, fresh made bread

Iggy's is a chain, sports bar type of spot.  This is a great place to go for some wings, nachos and beers before you go watch the Jazz lose a basketball game (sorry).  It sort of has a Chili's / Applebee's vibe to it, but I would say that it is a step above in terms of food and service.  My warning to you is that they have dozens of TVs going with sports playing and the volume is really loud.  Like sitting a home theater system on your face loud.  However, if you came here expecting a romantic candle lit dinner, you are not very smart and deserve to be disappointed.

Upon entering, I was greeted warmly at the bar and gave my food and drink order.  The food and drinks came quickly.  I ordered a chicken sandwich with a couple of modifications and everything came out exactly as ordered.  The bartender was friendly and attentive, but wasn't hovering.

Is this place mind-bendingly good?  No, but they do a good job at the basic sports bar thing, so set your expectations accordingly and you should have a good time.

We went to this place before going to the Jazz game last week after we read the reviews on Yelp.  They had this special of soup or salad, one of 5 entrees, and dessert for $9.99 on game night so we tried that special.  what a mistake!!! First, we waited about 20 min before our order was taken, and then another 30 min before our food came. I wasa timing it because we had to go to the game. Our side orders came first -French fries and frozen recooked carrots/broccoli - then our soup or salad came next, and then our entrees came with more sides on the same plate.! The steak was as hard as a rock and overcooked.  The bill finally came and we asked about our dessert and the waitress looked flustered and took our bill back to add dessert. That came out 15 min later. Then our bill came back and they had charged every dish individually so instead of  $9.99 for the 3 course, we were suppose to pay about $16!!!  We spent about another 20 min going over the bill with the waitress who didn't understand the problem, then I demanded to talk to the manager and he explained that this was how the computer charged everything.  He saw the problem and then tried to correct it but couldn't figure it out either and then just gave us a discount on the bill that worked out to be the correct charge.  Needless to say, we were there about 2 hours and late to the game.  We will never go back try there again. Service horrible and food was nothing special.
