Love this place. Â One of the most knowledgeable staffs I have encountered. Â Food is overwhelmingly limited, but there is a good burger joint with take-out across the tracks. Â The beers are always rotating so that you get a variety. Â AND, if you find one you like, you can take some home. Â I happen to have a weakness for the Big Island Pale Ale accompanied by French fries and a hearty hamburger.
Plan to spend some time here and take a stroll afterwards.
Micro brew by the beach is not fair. Visiting this place immediately makes you depressed that eventually you'll have to leave. Then you taste the beer and that feeling worsens. The IPA and double IPA are both very solid. I buy it every time I see it. The building is industrious but cozy. The bartenders are always nice no matter how swamped, and they get swamped. They have enlarged the patio area. It's fun to get a pint and see the train whiz by the tracks nearby. During part of the year, they make an avacado ale which is different but you have to get at least one. They used to show movies in the brewhouse. Hope they still do because we want to do that at least once.
Review Source:Made a stop here during a Bachelorette Party Tour a few weekends ago. Our server was super nice and very informative, wish I could remember her name but she was young and cute. They had some great spots to sit on the patio and enjoy the sunshine while tasting their beers. Tasting came with about 5-8 beers and in a fairly generous pour. I am not a huge beer fan but I picked up their IPA for the bf. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their drinks. Will be back again!
