Came here since there was a long wait at Himawari. Ordered a rainbow roll which was good, the same as every rainbow roll in other Japanese restaurants. I had champon for the first time, but it was only average to me. I still enjoy good old miso corn ramen better than champon. It was just my first time trying it, and if there is another place that serves "better" champon, I'll try it for comparison. My wife had their pork ramen and the broth was good. Still prefer the ramen next door at Himawari or Ramen Dojo. Overall not bad, and a good alternative on the days when we are not up for waiting in line at more popular restaurants in the area.
Review Source:friend of mine(who came from Japan) recomended me this place. we went there late night around 9:30pm, but they are open till midnight. we had some beers with small dishes like typical japanese izakaya food. everything was delicious and severs are very nice. i'll definitely go back when i go to san mateo.
