This is 1 of 2 places I've eaten in town (besides my aunt Marie's house). The other was Johnny's BBQ. We ate here on Sunday (not many places in town are open Sundays) and had a good buffet with all the essential southern food for a very low price. I think it was around 7 dollars. Meats included brisket, fried chicken, fried pork chops, etc.; vegetables included mash potatoes (instant, I think), salad bar, fried okra, glazed carrots, etc. The staff are all very, very friendly and helpful. Additional amenities include: pastries and cakes, video games, smoking and non-smoking rooms, and on-site mechanic. Just kidding. But the story is, my car broke down when I was about to leave, so the waitress came out and checked it out and volunteered to jump us. Then she went back in and came back with a mechanic she knew who looked at my car too, and who suggested not to take it to someone in town! Ha. Good people all round, I say. The buffet fortified us well for the 2-hour tow-trip to Nashville.
