I want to point out that due to current laws, this place is not BYOB. However, we talked to the person running the lounge that night, and they are working to change that, hopefully within a couple of months or so. They do offer N/A drinks, though. And just so everyone is aware, they do not offer food. I don't go to hookah lounges for food, but in case you are one of those people that do, FYI.
The seating is excellent. My boyfriend and I had a wrap-around couch which was very cozy and intimate. The other seating looked comfortable too, couches and other chairs, not a lot of table/chair seating. I don't find table/chair arrangements to be the most comfy for hookah, so it was great to see a wider selection. There are two big screen TVs that had movies going and soft, quiet music.
The individual who ran the lounge was beyond awesome-he gave us great suggestions for what kinds of flavors were good, asked us about our preferences, and was constantly attending to our coals. And since it was obvious we were on a date, he gave us a little bit of privacy, too.
Apparently they also have comedians and bands on certain nights. Much better than the last hookah lounge we went to in Chicago (far exceeded our expectations in terms of service and ambiance) and I know we will back again in the future!
Very upscale for the Rockford area. There are many events that take place throughout the week along with a fine selection of hookah flavors and cigars. The staff is amazingly friendly and the owner is just as cool. You can bring in your own alcohol for a $3 per person charge. It is a great way to relax in a comforting environment and smoke indoors. With TVs and movies and live music on occasion, how could you say no to one of the coolest spots in town?a
