An intimate restaurant with great food.
Emphasis here is on good, fresh ingredients, prepared simply. Â They aren't all local- many ingredients are sourced all over the country. Â But the end result is fantastic. Â
Amazing wine list, including several excellent european wines. Â All things considered, the price is a relative bargain- dinner for four, including appetizers and wine came to $200. Â
This kind of restaurant wouldn't be out of place in New Orleans, Houston or Atlanta.. what it's doing in Boyce is a mystery.
I have been here three times so far and every time it has been excellent. For the longest time I looked for a really good place to eat in Alexandria and never found one. I was frustrated until I found this one. The food is all delicious. The menu can vary a bit so I will not go into particular dishes. The service has always been good and the staff and chef are quite friendly and make you feel like family. I live in New Orleans but I do travel quite a bit and eat out quite often. Food is prepared creatively, beatifully presented, and the price is right on. Â This is the best place to eat in Central Louisiana. I will be back.
