JB Boondock's Bar & Grill

I've stopped by twice while cruising the roads via motorcycle (great area, BTW). The location is spacious, and the lakeside view is fantastic. The staff is friendly and prompt, but the food is just so-so. I really don't plan on coming back.

If you're in the area, the wonderful Yahala Bakery is just a mile or so down the road, and offers much better food.

No were else to eat. It was ok.

The employees in this establishment (if you call it that) do not have a clue about customer service.  They are rude, obnoxious, and act as if you are supposed to do them a favor.  The first time we ate there for lunch, I ate the Tuna Salad that was overpriced and not that great.  C'mon! It's Tuna Salad! How can you make that taste mediocre?  This time we went and intended to be part of a large party, but when we arrived colleagues that were already there relayed that they already received a scolding for moving tables together.  We were told we would have to sit somewhere else in a practically empty restaraunt. We sat down, but soon decided it was best to tell our coworkers we were going to move on and take the drive to US Hwy 27 to find a place that appreciated the business.  As we got up to leave, the waitress proceeded to scold one us on what we should expect when we come and make reservations the next time.  Needless to say, there won't be a next time.  Go there at your own risk.  Chances are, you will be disappointed if you do.
