Had a burger and fries and an order of vegetable tempura.
The vegetable tempura gets my award for worst I've ever had anywhere in the US.
I actually believe I could've put an apron on a chimpanzee and produced a better result.
The vegetables were cut in huge pieces and covered with an inordinately large amount of batter- so much that I really think that they have no right to even call this dish " tempura" - maybe change the name to "giant vegetable chunks deep fried in thick batter"
The burger was dry, overcooked and required 4 tablespoons of mayo just to swallow it down and even with that much lube I still felt like I might choke.
The fries were soggy and forgettable.
Had I not been so hungry, I would have demanded a refund and left a tip that read
" please change the name of your restaurant to Table to Dumpster"
I have have rarely dined better- and never at this price. The food was superb, the atmosphere was calming, and the waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. I stopped in for dinner and wish I'd had time to return for breakfast. Henceforth, I will never pass through the Valley without dropping in.
Review Source:My friend and I recently went to John and Michelle's for dinner - the food was delicious and the portions were large - more than we could eat in one meal. Â We had the Harvest Pasta Veggie dish - with pesto sauce, pine nuts, spinach and penne. Â They could have put a bit less pesto on the dish but otherwise it was delicious. Â We also ordered their spinach, greens, and cranberry walnut salad with salmon. Â The salad dressing was also very complimentary to the salad. Â
We would definitely return again - we would like to try their breakfast menu too!
