Jimmys Patio

I'm wavering between 3.5 - 4 stars on this one.  
I don't eat a Jimmy's.  I come on Friday nights to people watch.  Yup. $1 beers bring everything out.  And I mean everything.  Trust me.  

Sadly, its a nice space, pool table in back etc...but the people watching for me is the big draw.  If you know what I mean.  :)

The gyro meat tastes like it is very well aged - after it is cooked. It is dry and without flavor, served on pita that was still cold from being in the fridge.  You order at the counter and they bring your food to you, but having eaten here about 4 times, three of them were an experience where they couldn't get the order right.  The location has a long tradition of being a diner since the 1920s, but it is pretty obvious the people involved now know very little about food or how to sell it.  Wouldn't waste my time returning if they were giving it away.
