Great place at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa to relax after a round of golf, people watch and take in the sites. Fantastic drinks and great homemade chips served when you sit.  Friendly and attentive service too!

Gita was our waitress and she was so wonderful! Jimmy's Pub is located on the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa property. My fiance and I were curious about the menu items at a nearby restaurant on the property and Gita got us a menu to look at. We didn't even ask. It was very thoughtful.

Food is great and the view is amazing.

A casual dining option at Ojai Valley Inn & Spa.  We enjoyed a Dungeoness Crab Roll (a la West Coast version of a Maine Lobster Roll - different crustraceon, less dressing).  Definitely THE place to watch football while your hanging out at OVIS.  Best beer selection I saw on property.

The worst food I have ever eaten. Nothing could have made it better apart from cooking the food myself!!!, undercooked burger, plastic taco's and cold fries. Thank god they serve alcohol!

It is over priced and I can't help thinking that for over $90 for my wife, daughter and I. That's 1 burger, 1 taco and a children's burger I could have been sitting in rustic canyon having a gourmet meal...

Love love love Jimmy's Pub!  Great place for us locals to hang out and be treated just as well as the fancy hotel guests. And the Ojai Valley Inn really treats the locals well ;).  Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic customer service, and awesomely unique food and drink menus.  The pals and I love to come here and chat with the friendly staff and relax in the air-conditioned wood paneled bar, especially in the horrendous summer heat that Ojai is known for.

Why am I just writing a review now? The newly updated food and drink menus are AMAZING!  Make sure to try the Jumbo Shrimp Bloody Mary (made from scratch, of course), the cucumber/mint/jalepeno margarita, and my personal favorite: the Lavender martini, invented by the fantastic daytime bartender, Sam.

    Yay Jimmy's :)

Opened until Midnight Friday and Saturday and 11pm other days, this was a great restaurant to unwind and get a late snack and/or drink while looking out under the star filled sky. We were staying at the Valley inn Resort and wandered over to the pub at about 10pm, sat outside by the heater torch, and ordered French Fries and Wild Mushroom pizza. We already had a good dinner but being on vacation, we opted to spend some time out and about before calling it a day. The french fries were like any standard fries, but at 10ish at night, its comfort food and the mushroom pizza w/ truffle oil was tasty. Prices were reasonable too. If you like cupcakes, go for the cupcake of the day - the cupcakes at the resort are amazing! (not too sweet, just right on the frosting). Very relaxing.

I was a bit wary of the food offerings at the Inn based on the middling reviews, but I found Jimmy's to be a very relaxing place to get good (if not reasonably priced) food. The wife & I split the burger for lunch, opting for the beer battered onion rings as a side, and both were delicious. On another visit, she & I sat in the outdoor patio area and had a Pixie Cooler and a Painkiller, respectively, from the special drinks menu. The Pixie Cooler had come highly recommended by the front desk gal, but the rum-based Painkiller was the real winner (so much so that we photographed the card listing the drinks & ingredients so that we could attempt to replicate it at home). On another solo, I had the Caesar salad with chicken, and it was quite good.

Service was very friendly and helpful. Sit inside to avoid the flies landing on your food, but if the weather is pleasant you might opt for the patio over the somewhat frigid A/C.

OK food, TERRIBLE service.  Sat at our table for 10 mins before anyone offered a menu, appetizers came with the entrees, sat with finished plates forever until we could flag down a waiter to clear them, never asked for desert. Awful experience.

Jimmy's Pub won me over with their PInk Moment Martini!  So refreshing and deelish!  :)  And the color of course was pretty too!  They named this drink after the phenomenon that occurs at sunset in Ojai.  If you look to the east to the Topatopa Mountains, they will appear a brilliant shade of pink for several minutes as the sun begins to set.  Ojai is one of the very few places in the world where the Pink Moment occurs.

Anyway back to my review!  :)  We were seated immediately and the host and wait staff were all very super friendly and kind!  We received amazing service here at Jimmy's!  We were treated very well, which is more than what I can say for many places these days.

Another thing that I loved about this place is that they serve you complimentary fresh potato chips seasoned with parmesan cheese, garlic and some herbs.  Really tasty!!!  :)

We also ordered their pepperoni pizza.  It was thin crust, so not too heavy on our bellies.  They were very generous with their pepperoni let me tell you!  :)  It was overall, a very tasty pizza!

We also ordered chocolate martini's.  They were soooo good!  Not everyone can make a good chocolate martini.  Jimmy's Pub is one of the few places that can make a really good chocolate martini.

    Overall:
    Excellent Drinks
    Excellent customer service

The original location for the "Snooty Lady" cocktail. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, vanilla vodka and mint. Bless their hearts, I Love this drink! Enjoy it on the patio over looking the pink & greens.  ("Pink moment" sunset on the mountains and golf course) Tell them you're a "neighbor". Trust me...

Nice little comfortable pub at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa.  The bloody mary is served with a tiny little tabasco jar served on top.  Skip the caesar salad, it's not so great.... stick with the pub food!  Lots of TVs for sports watching.
