Let me say from the start of this, that if you were to send a few dozen of these pork tenderloin sandwiches to a starving third world country, it would probably feed the whole, hungry , nation!  I saw the pictures of the pork tenderloin sandwich on Yelp, so I decided to split it with a friend, but , next time I will bring 3 friends, and we will all leave, fat and sassy! It's big, Super Bowl big!  They serve a selection of fresh, crisp veggies on the side, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Alas, no onion.  Because even they know that this sandwich is ridiculously big, they offer another bun for .50. The fries served with the Wooly Mammoth pork sandwich were battered, golden brown, light, and crispy.  All that for $8.99 + .50 (extra bun).  This means you can feed that starving  third world country alot cheaper at Joe and Linda's Tater Patch than the Goverment does! Tell your Congressman!

The tenderloin was a high point, but there were a few missed opportunities which lowered my rating.
    1) The lime slices served with my diet Coke (by request) were way past fresh. Actually, way past trash...slimy.
    2) The atmosphere was dark, miss matched and screamed Bar.  May not be a concern to you, but it is to me.
    3) Tenderloin  was pounded too thin. The flavor would have been better if it was a little thicker...and less mammoth in size.  And if you, like me want a few slices of fresh onion, you'll have to ask, cuz it doesn't come with it.

The waitstaff is friendly, the portions are unequivocally enormous, and very inexpensive. Feed your hungry country and save a bundle.

Pros: Overall good food, large quantities, good price, and quick service. Cons: Old and dark building.
A large group of me and my friends ambushed this place for lunch. We started out with 2 orders of the Broccoli Cheese Bites which were a great way to eat some vegetables (fried n' cheesy).
For my main course I had the tenderloin sandwich which was a pounded flat, massive crispy pork serving on fresh buns.  It was ginormous! I had to cut the pork serving in two and use the second half as a chicken strip dipper.  You can't go wrong with this menu item.
For your side don't get the baked beans unless all you want is a half can of Bush's baked beans. I wasn't real thrilled with that. Others had the spuds topped with an assortment of items that they found tasty. They also ordered fries and were happy with those as a side.
For my lunch combo and one of the appetizers I paid $17.50 so good price for a good meal.
I would recommend this place to you even though it has an old tavern feel that comes across as old dingy to some.
