Went to John's for the second time after living in the same town for 15 years.  Anthony, formally from Diorios in Waterbury and an old friend, was the Manager at that point and he made us feel welcome but the setup was not to have people at the bar. The food was "ok" at best. Fast forward to today. They rearranged a bit and made room for a 6 person bar, which is where we prefer to sit for after work cocktails and munchies. We figured let's try it and what a fantastic decision that was! The appetizers (Mussels, Duck pate, Polenta with Goat cheese, were SO good we ordered the Lamb chops entree to split  (which were perfect!). Go to this place, the food is fantastic!!
