This is a good time.  As with most piano bars, it's best with a large group of friends.  That way, you can deflect the embarrassing stuff to one of your friends. :)  It's nice to have a place like this in the area so I don't have to go down to Howl at the Moon's uptown and drop a ton of $.

Joker's is a fun time if you get a big group going and you are half drunk before you get there.  Always a cover but since you have live entertainment then I guess that's OK.  I just think chicks should get in for free.  Never had their food but their drinks are usually hit or miss, depending on the bartender you get.  It's a great experience.

Located at Queens Landing, a combination boat access, concert, miniature golf/bumper boat and floating bar venue, Joker's is arguably the biggest draw.
It doesn't reinvent the wheel as far as dueling piano bars go...the setup is basically the same as other piano bars I've been to: two grand pianos facing each other on a stage. The songs used for celebrating birthdays and berating customers are largely the same as well.
The menu sports your typical bar food lineup, which of course is always good after a beer or 4.

The actual building used to be an Italian restaurant, so it is quite spacious and has a nice U-shaped bar.

What separates Jokers from other places though, for me, is the atmosphere. It is always packed and rockin'. The entertainers are excellent...part musicians, part comedians, and they have a vast knowledge of songs. Which is good, considering a large part of the evening is dedicated to audience requests.

I do feel the need to offer a slight warning however: just like at a comedy club, if you sit near the front, expect to get picked on at some point in the evening. One night, a large group of us arrived after being on the boat all day. I was wearing a faded red t-shirt, and I was singled out as 'the guy in the pink shirt'.

Doing my best Ross from "Friends" impersonation, I argued that my shirt was really salmon-colored, but to no avail.

Pink-shirt slight aside, Jokers has always entertained me, and its a good place if you're looking for a loud, in-your-face kind of evening.
