  Josies is a nice, casual place known to all in Port O'Connor. It is hardly fancy, but the service was friendly and the food was delicious! Of course, we caught the food. We were down there fishing and brought a mess of Speck's. They brought back two large platters of Fish Taco's (Trout grilled with onions, bell peppers and spices), tortillas and fixings. They follows that with two platters of Trout fried in corn batter. Both were delicious, although if I had to choose, I'd go for the fish taco's every time.

  Josie's is a great place to eat in the Port Lavaca/Port O'Connor/Seadrift area.  I've been coming here since the late 80's.
  
  Here's why
  -Best burgers in the area by far and away.  Huge and delicious  
  -Handmade french fries
  -Humongous pancakes during breakfast
  -Tasty salsa!
  -Lunch/Dinner you can bring in your catch and they will clean and cook the fish for you however you like.
  -Although the serve wine and beer, you can bring in booze and buy the setups from them.

  Great burgers and fries, breakfast is very good.  Mexican food is average.  The Cantina rocks!
