Josie's in a wildly popular local (maybe regional) favorite. I am not sure how it stays busy, being a fairly pricey italian restaurant in the middle of a nearly dead small town. I think it's unusual location is part of the allure of this place.
The portions are large so it often makes sense to share, especially if you order the large size. I've  had the ravioli and lasagna and both were fantastic.
It's a fun place to go every once in awhile for a special occasion and when we are up for the 40 min drive. It makes for a good reason to 'get out of town' and do something different for a dinner occasion.
Like others have mentioned, they are one of those few places that have refused to give in to the credit card movement. So be prepared to pay with cash or check!
We have been here a couple times, I personally am not a huge fan but the family is just over the moon about this place.
Its out in the middle of noooo where. Without GPS I would probably never find it.
The fried ravioli is what seems to be every ones favorite here. It is very good. The bread is baked fresh there nice soft white bread and served with anti pasta that every one really likes.
First time I went here I had the chicken Alfredo. Not even in my top 5 favs but okay. this time I had Spaghetti with meat sauce. Its pretty good but honestly, I'm just not won over. Ill stick with the fried ravioli and the good times had with the family. I've been told the meatball is very good as well.
I have been told you must get there early basically at the doors opening at five or you will be waiting.
Great place to eat i love the food here. The bread and olive oil it exceptional. the entrees are all very good that i have tried. It is off the beaten path and when you drive into town you will think you missed a turn till you see all the cars parked around the restaurant. Be sure you have cash they do not take credit cards.
