Junction Cafe Daylight Donuts

I am pretty sure this place has been here, pretty much forever.  I know that when I was a kid, my grandfather used to be bring me to a BBQ and cheeseburger joint in this same location, but I don't know if it is the exact same business or not.

On a recent trip back to northeast Oklahoma, we stopped in for lunch.  My girls had corn dogs and tater tots, the adults all had the cheeseburger.  Everything we had was awesome.  The burgers were very flavorful, and big!  

They also do BBQ, though we didn't try any.  I am a Texas transplant, and I am partial to Texas BBQ.  There are a couple of things I have learned not to order if I am north of the Red River, BBQ and Texmex.  But this joint seems like they have their act together.  I mean, you can get a donut and coffee in the morning, a burger for lunch and stop back by for BBQ at dinner!  What's not to love!

The staff was very friendly, and the prices were more than fair.  

Hopefully I will get the chance to wander back up that way to float the river, and when I do, I will stop in for another burger.  Just don't expect me to get excited about hot links and smoked baloney!
