I am pretty sure this place has been here, pretty much forever. Â I know that when I was a kid, my grandfather used to be bring me to a BBQ and cheeseburger joint in this same location, but I don't know if it is the exact same business or not.
On a recent trip back to northeast Oklahoma, we stopped in for lunch. Â My girls had corn dogs and tater tots, the adults all had the cheeseburger. Â Everything we had was awesome. Â The burgers were very flavorful, and big! Â
They also do BBQ, though we didn't try any. Â I am a Texas transplant, and I am partial to Texas BBQ. Â There are a couple of things I have learned not to order if I am north of the Red River, BBQ and Texmex. Â But this joint seems like they have their act together. Â I mean, you can get a donut and coffee in the morning, a burger for lunch and stop back by for BBQ at dinner! Â What's not to love!
The staff was very friendly, and the prices were more than fair. Â
Hopefully I will get the chance to wander back up that way to float the river, and when I do, I will stop in for another burger. Â Just don't expect me to get excited about hot links and smoked baloney!
