Nice revamp of the old Chilis, however the service had been slower than molasses every visit. My drink has been left dry many times. No mas fa me.....

Asked for an item to be cooked in a way that was not on the menu.  Michael, the server, went to the kitchen and asked Jonathan if it was possible.  Jonathan came out and talked to us about it and said he would try to cook it that way and if it wasn't right, he would try again.  The item was cooked our way and was very good.  We rarely find staff who are so willing to try something new to please their customers.  Will definitely go there again.

Not being a native to TX, I don't know what the standard is but I ordered chicken strips at K Bob's and they were amazing.  I was slightly disappointed by the salad bar, but it was completely acceptable.  I just typically go for the darker green lettuce and many of my favorite toppings were missing.  I assume this was a regional thing, though.  The staff was kind of funny, very straight forward.  I visited with my great aunt who is in a wheel chair, and the hostess asked if we wanted a table or a booth but then was immediately interrupted by another staff member who directed us to a table nearby where we could use the wheelchair.  One of our meals came out completely the wrong thing, but it was replaced quickly.  The server said "I probably just pushed the wrong button".  I was fully amused by this up front attitude.  Everything was just fine in the end and, again, food was cooked beautifully!
