Found out about this place because there was a class on Tantra fitness opening the kundalini. Â Michelle showed me around and her assistant Jessica. Â They were very knowledgable about the different products and were able to explain what to expect from using the item you were looking at. Â I initially was only going for the class and to purchase one small item to use during massage, but I left with more items than anticipated. The Kama Sutra Closet is a great little shop in downtown Ventura, well worth my drive from the Inland Empire. The class by Andi Epstein was really great!

He tried to take it back the same day and they were already closed at 5pm. Then he went the next day and the girl working said he would have to talk to the owner and she would have her call him. She never called. My husband called again the next day and the same girl said the owner would call him again. Finally she called and told him she would not allow a return but an exchange.
We don't want to exchange it we want to return it. Now I am looking online and the same toy is online for $20 less.

My book club recently read Fifty Shades of Grey, and we decided to host the meeting here since they do Fifty Shades of Play book discussions. The entire event was SO informative. The owner did an amazing job at explaining everything used in the book and more. It's a really fun place to host a naughty girl or bachelorette party. It was free to host, just as long as people shop her selection of merchandise. Some of it is pricey but it's extremely high end and almost everyone left with something. I would definitely shop here and host another party again.

My girlfriend and I went in while just walking on Main street in Ventura. It is a cool little shop upstairs above a boutique clothing shop. They have toys for her, toys for you, toys to share, books, and oils/lotions.
From my experience, it is a little pricey. Consider it a boutique for these types of items. So like a boutique clothing store is expensive compared to your department store, this is expensive compared to other sex stores of internet shops or what have you.
We were the only two customers and the young women working there would not leave us alone. She kept showing us everything and explaining the deep intrusive details of how to use each toy. For a serious shopper, this is probably a good thing, but for the causal curious shopper it is a little intense and annoying. So if you just want to just look around for fun, I recommend going somewhere else.
This is the classiest store with the best selection of the highest quality sex toys I have ever found. And I've been to a lot of stores! Only quality items are offered for sale (not the cheap toxic crap from China).
I can't say enough about how comfortable the owner and her saleswoman will make you feel because of their open, matter-of-fact attitude. They are full of information about whatever you came there for.

I walked in here with my significant other and started giggling like a Japanese schoolgirl when I saw the wall full of high-tech adult toys, whips, and other unique items that suck, vibrate, paddle, and know where to find the g-spots on ladies and gents.
I wish I knew the name of the lady who helped us, she was confident, knowledgeable, and patient as I stood there blushing and laughing like a wild hyena when I picked up a box a nipple suction cups. Downstairs they have an amazing little lingerie boutique. They have some of the sexiest, most affordable, quality lingerie I have seen in a long time. And the nice lady was cool when my obnoxious fiance yanked open the dressing room curtain to give me another pair of panties to try on, exposing my bum to the other ladies shopping in the store.

I picked up a few surprises for our honeymoon. However NOT the pair of panties he wanted me to try on when in typical non-thinking man fashion he made me the star of an involuntary peepshow.
I really recommend this place for couples that are serious about their intimate life. You won't find any cheesy novelties or videos that would make many women uncomfortable. Also, unlike other stores, I didn't see any 75-year-old dudes lurking in a corner with a copy of Hustler's "Barely Legal". Never a good sign.
Great place for both the novice and more experienced. The owner was wonderful at making all feel welcome and managed to have discrete conversations as needed, even in our large group. 12-14 of us attended a private party there recently. The owner and a well trained helper explained any and all things and the store stayed open until after our party concluded at 12:30am. She also provided a model to show off the lingerie as a musician played quietly in the background. Nice ambiance. We brought our own food and drinks and made use of the balcony off the viewing room to have food, drink and or a cigar while deciding what goodie to buy.

Anyway, we walked in and were warmly greeted and welcomed. Â While I can't recall her name she was awesome.
She showed us the wide variety of products some of which seemed cool as hell! Â The store is defiantly focused on the woman. Â There are more toys focused on the g-spot than you can shake a stick at. :)
This place is NOT you gross creepy porn store. Â It's very nice, classy and inviting and the sales lady will answer all your questions..even the "where does this go" ones. :)

The store opened in February of this year. Due to local regulation (i.e. conservative prudes) the store is said to be "by appointment" for now. Just call the store and see what time someone will be in.
This store has a great selection of high-end and high quality toys for women, men, and couples. They only have the best--things that are designed to and known to "get the job done" and not just "novelty." Â Some prices may seem high, but if you look online for the same products (Lelo toys, for example), her prices are usually lower and you can see/touch everything out of the package so you really know what you are getting. They also carry books, some "kinky items", and these great massage candles in a variety of scents.
The owner was amazingly helpful, kind, and patient. She knows her stuff and really makes you feel "at home" in her store. You don't have to be shy talking to her about what you are there for and if you are shy about being seen there, you can arrange a private consultation. She also does private parties--like a "naughty" tupperware party--that are educational beyond simple product knowledge.
The store is definitely worth checking out, if only to visit with the owner! She'll be having classes and seminars soon on topics ranging from "Sex After 60" to G-Spot Education, and maybe even Rope Bondage/Shibari classes!

This book has a chapter on sex and points to a study that shows that people who have more orgasms live longer. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as they say.
