I've been feeling sorry for this dinky dive, no business to speak of, so today we drove over to have a burger, it's 10 to 2:00 in the afternoon, the only sign in the window says "open".  We were met by a surly girl with orange hair, I would guess someone's daughter, is how she came by the job.  No welcome, no smile, nothing except "if you want something you have to write it on this pad".  We did.  Then we got "oh, I guess you can stay as long as I do, we're closing".  Your guess is as good as mine why we didn't move on at that point, but we persevered.  "If you want a soda it's in the box behind you" -- no mention of a cup or ice -- and she disappeared in the back.  Now a guy on a motorcycle drives up and comes in -- she looks at the cell in her hand and says "we're closed", he seemed confused so she said "want to take a menu with you"?  I don't know.  Now the cook/owner/manager/disinterested third party comes out from behind the wall with our lunch in a to go box, tosses it on the counter and gives us a vacant stare.  Red shoves the box across the counter, looks toward us and says "there you go" and motions towards the door.  Both gave us the stink eye as we left the premises.  After all that, we ended up with a large bun, small overcooked beef? patty amongst a few scattered frozen fries.  Appealing?  No.  Lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard?  No.  And if you're wondering -- NO, we won't be back.  I don't need to pay people to make me miserable.

I assume the other reviews are the bought and paid for kind -- maybe this is too, we paid for something and it sure wasn't lunch.

Saw a sign outside that said "best burgers around" - seemed strange for a coffee shop, but I was intrigued. Ordered the double bacon cheeseburger. It was awesome! Will have to return to try the coffee, but I expect good things. Service was great too, although it wasn't busy and just before closing. Highly recommend a stop here.

Kaufman & Company is a great place to grab a cup of coffee, delicious pastry, and pick up some awesome burgers.

To think that this place used to be an old bar of sorts not too long ago. The staff there is helpful and courteous every time I go there.

I was surprised at the quality of the burgers there and definitely would challenge anyone to find a better burger in the area.

The real reason I go there is to get one of the best cinnamon rolls that I've ever tasted.

The only drawback that I've ever experienced there was the actual speed of the espresso machine. If you're in a real hurry to grab and go latte then you'll wait a few minutes but the taste is worth the wait.

Over time, this place has gotten better and better and would recommend it over going to $tarBuck$ or any other chain. It is nice to support local family owned business!

I love this place so much.  I've never had anything bad here, and I've eaten here at least 50 times in the last year.  My favorite things are their hamburgers and baked fries for lunch but their blueberry pancakes haunt me.  I have to have those at least once a week, they're amazing.

I drive by this place every day on my way to and from work and I've been wanting to stop in. Being super tired the other day AND seeing a check in offer for a free latte was the perfect combination. The people here are super nice and friendly, the prices are fair and their coffee is delish. I have my eye on one of their amazing looking cinnamon rolls too. They also have breakfast and lunch so I'm sure I'll be partaking in that one day. They have half priced lattes on Friday which makes their already good prices that much better! They have a loyalty card where every sixth coffee is free and if you're rushed they also have a drive through. So happy to have found this little gem and to be able to support a great local business!

    Great Sandwiches!
Was looking for a place to order lunch for 18 people. Based on other's reviews I decided to give the place a try. Well, everyone really enjoyed the sandwiches and commented on how fresh they tasted. The sandwiches were $4.75 each and a great value. I ordered her scones as well and they did not disappoint! I think a couple people had 2 large sandwiches and multiple scones they were so good!

So I've been here several times now and man this place is consistent. Great breakfast burritos, Lunch sandwiches and soups! You really can't go wrong dropping in here on your way into the Fort or SV for your work day. Before going overseas for work I  stopped in once a week to grab a half dozen caramel rolls and half dozen reg cinnamon rolls for the office. I'm ready to get back for some Caramel rolls and lunch Soup and Sandwiches.

The burritos are huge, she will make it when you order it. You can also call in if you want to pick it up in the drive through. Nothing pre made in the burrito department. As far as the cinnamon/caramel rolls, they are large and in charge. Both are equally yummy in their own ways and they don't last long at the office. Finally probably my favorite thing Soup and Sandwiches. Choose beef, chicken, turkey or ham and she will put whatever you want on them. Pair that with a soup of the day and you are set and full when you leave there.

It is always nice and peaceful there while having a good chat with the owner. She is building one piece at a time, hoping to have a butterfly garden soon after Huachuca City finishes some side walk work. Free WIFI and Good Eats!

As I was traveling the Sierra Vista area, and NOT looking forward to the warm bag of apples and carrots that I'd packed for my lunch, I chanced to wander into Kaufman & Co. in search of a snack.  What a delight!  Home made jams and marmalades, freshly baked Cherry Almond scones, and a full range of coffee choices awaited me.  The owner was just starting lunch, and the special was French-Dip... (most sandwiches start at $2.75) Since it was still only 11AM I went for the Vanilla Mocha Latte, Cherry Scone and a $5 jar of orange marmalade to remember my lovely visit to Southern Arizona!  (I paid $10 for drink, pastry & jam) Fortified for the potentially long wait at the nearby border patrol checkpoint, I set off into the great beyond, grateful for a fresh drink and a bite of tasty pastry. (There was no waiting at the checkpoint, after all!)

Kaufman and Co has the Cinnamon Rolls that your grandma used to make and you would too if you had the time. The owner of this little local breakfast/sandwich place bakes up from scratch a case full of scones, biscuits and caramel and cinnamon rolls that are to die for and worth all of the weight watchers points in the world.

Breakfast is served from 5:30 to 11 am and sees steady traffic from Huachuca city fire and police as well as military personnel on their way to Fort Huachuca who seem to love the breakfast burritos and biscuits & gravy.

The owner/baker is sweet and attentive to her customers and knows the locals and their taste buds. In addition to juice and standard coffee the little shop has an espresso machine and a menu of enough fru fru drinks to keep even Starbucks aficionados happy.

I have never had her sandwiches as I frequent this shop on the way to work in Tucson in the morning, but if she puts as much care and attention into them -- they have to be tasty.

The best part is if you don't have time to come inside to drool over the pastry case there is a drive through that you can place your order. Don't expect Fast Food speed, but you don't have to get out of your car.
