I used to love this place when I was a kid, before the great hipster invasion of 2005. From then on, it was basically a turnstyle for snotty "i'm better than you" hires and lackluster service.
Here's a hint Coffeetree, hire people with good attitudes, just because they wear horn rimmed black glasses doesn't mean they're good at customer service.
So first I looked this place up on Yelp. After walking 4 miles along the river my wife and I were starved since it was 1:30 and no food all day. They had 2 specials, Tuna sanwich and Mozzarella and Tomatoes. Wife order the Tuna and well no tuna! She then ordered the Mozzarella and Tomatoes and no tomatoes? The girl at the counter was really bored and not very interested. So I order the Ham and Swiss and wife ordered the Turkey. Ok we are in Kentucky so where is my Kentucky ham? They had a biscut and Kentucky ham so where is my Kentucky ham? Bread on both sandwiches were stale as was my Iced tea! Wifes sandwich was boring also! Nothing like going out to lunch and getting food that you could have made better at home. Â Potatoe salad was the only good thing. And now my stomach is gurgling! Won't be returning.
Review Source:Probably won't be going back after my last few visits. A lot of the staff seem to be uninterested hipsters that have no desire to do anything. The last time I went there was a Saturday and ordered a coffee. The only thing the guy behind the counter did was run my credit card. I then had to get my cup, squeeze my coffee out of the urn, put on the lid and sleeve and even tear my receipt off the printer. I'd rather go to Starbucks, and that's terrible.
