what a little gem, my cholesterol will never be the same

we found it based on the iphone yelp application, and it was exactly what we were looking for

small (old house)
not much on the atmosphere, basically 3 doors converted into tables seating 6-8
family run

we had been struggling with car troubles and just wanted good food, another couple at our table recommended the brisket (wow) -- we opted for the try-it-all ($20, oh so good), perfect for 2 normal eaters, 3 side onion rings beans and cheese potato (eh)

AND the best corn muffins ever

We found this place after a long day of driving.  

We had the "Try it All" platter like another Yelp-er.  Fantastic.  The brisket was my favorite.  The beans and onion rings were yummy.  The cheesy potatoes were okay.

There are only 3 tables - we shared a larger table with another couple who came in after us and had a nice chat.  This place does a HUGE take out business with the locals.

Who could have room for dessert?!?

A great stop along the way to Denver.

btw - it is BYOB

Excellent BBQ!
We were driving in the area and Yelp brought us here.
The food was great, the shop is very homey, and the servos was very friendly!
Desert (fried Twinkie) was a very delicious end to a great meal!
