I had no clue this place existed. I was actually on my way to Trader Joe's, and had to double-back. It was a hot summer day, so people were sitting out on the patio enjoying beers on wooden picnic tables. The set-up is simple and casual. There are servers outside on the patio, but we opted to go inside to the bar so we could see their entire beer list. We got the taster tray with 6 beers for $6 - what a deal! The service is friendly, and they're more than happy to explain their beers to you, and their growler filling system. Most growlers only last a few days, but at Kulshan, they actually pressurize each fill, so it can keep in your fridge for up to 3 weeks (unless you open it, of course). The brewery is fairly small, and don't have any food, but they've clearly worked out a deal with Diego's Mexican food truck, who are parked alongside. You can have tacos with your beers in the sunshine, and chat with other like-minded beer fans.
