Love this place! I eat here several times a month. My boys love the chicken fried rice (generous portions!). I love the sushi. I recommend the Tiger Roll and the 3-way tartar as my personal favorites. The only thing I don't care for of their sushi are the raw scallops, but that may just be my tastes. Salad, miso soup and a scoop of Japanese ice cream (try the red bean ice cream!) comes with most of their dishes. Sushi has always been fresh and most portions are generous. The Seafood Fried Rice  and the tempura dishes are also a favorite, and the Udon soup is good too.  I have never had a bad dish there.  Friendly, attentive family staff, casual atmosphere, clean, and neat establishment.  Electronic "Spot Card" member (download the app and scan it each time you visit for points towards free drink, appetizer or dessert).

If you are a sushi fan, and needing a place to go for lunch, this place is your heaven. For under 10 you get two freshly made rolls of your choice. And if that's not enough for you, try their fried rice. Their yum yum sauce is a+++. Hidden gem of pleasentville, tn!
Review Source:We were spending the weekend up in Springfield for a wedding and decided to sample some nearby Japanese food. We had passed by this restaurant on a previous trip but didn't have time on that visit to eat here. This time we came prepared to eat and were highly impressed. We each got a sashimi appetizer to start and the quality and freshness was no different than the better sushi restaurants around Atlanta. Who would have guessed to find that here in what seemed like the middle of nowhere? I was in the mood all day for beef and got the beef teriyaki and it was delicious! The beef was cooked rare, just how I like it, and the sauce was so flavorful! I usually try not to eat too much white rice but when I put the sauce on the rice I ended up eating every last bit of it! My wife had the katsudon with a breaded port cutlet on top and a perfectly cooked runny egg on top in a sauce over rice. Oh, so good!! I gladly traded some of my beef for a portion of her katsudon. I don't know if or when we will ever get back to Springfield now that my relatives up there have moved away or will be soon. But if I do this will be the first place I come to eat.
Review Source:Kuramoto is one of the best Japanese restaurants in a small town that is hardly on the map.  Don't let their location fool you, it is worth the drive! Their food is always top notch, with very fast service and they reasonably priced with generous portions.  I love the stone bowl entree's are special, the sushi is made fresh to order  and all their food is excellent.  They have a wonderful ginger dressing for the salad and end with a choice of three flavors of ice cream, cookies n cream,  red bean (my favorite) or green tea.  We have eaten there about a dozen times since they opened and have NEVER been disappointed.
Review Source:Much better than I would have expected based on location. The fact that it's close to home makes it a favorite and the price is right, also better than expected. The fish is fresh, the people are nice, and overall, the place is a great place to eat when I don't feel like driving into one of the cities. It is easily the best restaurant in Pleasant View but saying that really doesn't do this place justice. I recommend one of their specials for the best deal. The volcano roll is my favorite.
