  The service here was pleasant enough, and the place looked clean and was comfortable inside. We came for an early dinner and there were plenty of folks here. It seems well liked by the locals.
  
  I ordered the penne palermitana. It was okay, but I noticed that the spinach tasted frozen. Frozen spinach isn't the worst thing in the world, but my wife ordered penne primavera with broccoli added. All of her vegetables tasted frozen as well, including the broccoli and zucchini. These are two vegetables that should never be frozen. They should be slightly firm when cooked well, not soggy. She also thought her sauce tasted bland. My wife isn't a master chef, but if she can do a better job on a dish than a restaurant, that restaurant is not getting more than three stars out of me.
  
  If you're passing through on your way home from the Outer Banks and need to stop for a bite to eat, this place is better than Bojangles. But this is not what 5 star Italian food tastes like.

  Great food! Vey Italian... Not the stuff you will get at a chain. Save room for the great desserts.

  Oh, how I miss Angela and Vincenzo!  This was absolutely our favorite restaurant in the Greenville NC area for the last 8 years.  I wish we still lived close enough to go for  dinner (we are in Durham now).  The owners are Sicilian and are super friendly.  They will pretty much make any dish you ask for but the ones on the menu are already all wonderful.  Their prices are great and the wine list, though short, is more than enough (and also reasonably priced).
  My friends and I have eaten just about everything on the menu, and really enjoyed everything.  One of my friends had a daily special that he liked so much he always orders it (pasta Joe, he calls it) and they always make it fresh for him.
  
  try it -- you will be thrilled and it's only a short ride from Greenville.

  Haven't had good Italian since moving to Greenville, NC and unfortunately, I don't consider Olive Garden either Italian or any good.  Anyway, a co-worker recommended this place and it does not disappoint!!  The prices are very reasonable for dinner entree's, but the quality is superb and completely satisfying.  The waiter was very personable and helpful.  After stuffing our faces, my girlfriend and I decided to get some take home dessert (cannoli and coffee cake) which literally blew us away.  We keep talking about going back when we have the time.  You will not regret stopping here!
