Ladysmith Family Restaurant

On our way to Mackinac Island from the Twin Cities, we passed through Ladyslipper around noon in need of lunch. We were very happy with our choice. Good coffee, best chicken wrap I have ever had (they grilled tortilla wrap). Husband said teriyaki chicken sandwich with dumpling soup was excellent! Clean bathrooms. What more could you ask for on a road trip.

My wife & I were travelling US 8 and enjoying the fall colors.  We were passing through Ladysmith and decided to stop at the Ladysmith Family Restaurant because it look quite neat from the outside.  Their lot was almost full and  that seemed like a good sign.

I had chicken dumpling soup.  Very good:  4/5 stars.  Small dumplings that were not doughy.

My main entree was a chicken bacon wrap.  It was also very good.  It came in a spinach wrap.  Not too much ranch dressing inside.

I tried my wife's grilled chicken sandwich with fries.  I'd give them 3.5 stars.

Clean inside.  Clean bathrooms.  Fast friendly service.
