The Lakehouse Restaurant & Bar

When this place first opened, I was just happy to have a restaurant back in operation on the shores of Mayfield (it had been nearly 20 years)--somewhere to eat greasy food in a pinch and enjoy a beverage with a nice view--but it turns out this place it actually quite good. I have only been three times, but each meal (bacon & eggs, a burger, chicken sandwich) has delivered beyond expectations. Even if the food doesn't excite you, the second floor deck is an idyllic spot to spend a summer evening with friends and beers.
