Cheap, smokey and a ton of fun. Doug and Judy will take good care of you on the weekends. Jai will treat you right earlier in the week. Don't expect anything fancy. Do expect the strongest drink you could ever want. Old school jukebox, leave your pompous attitude on Sherman and come grab a brew on second.

At this very moment in history, Lakers exists as the perfect old school neighborhood bar. It's cheap, friendly, smokey, and it's charm is that no one there, not even the bar itself, is trying to impress you. There is no common age of the crowd there. Its range is all drinking ages, though maybe not all at once. The older crowd is the day crowd, and the younger crowd is the evening and late night crowd. I have no idea what the hours are, but they seem to be one of the first to open and last places to close in Coeur d'Alene everyday of the week. If you like a place that feels like your grandpa's bar, and don't mind smoke in the air, then you'll find this to be a very comfortable place, and even if it's your first time there it feels familiar.
Bring cash, and get used to drinking from the same glass all night.
