Lakeside Restaurant & Lounge

The Friday Night Fish Fry was typical Wisconsin fare.  The service was perky and efficient.  The most memorable food item was the clam chowder.  Among the pros is that the restaurant is just accross Whalen Bay from where we live.  Chief among the cons is that the fare seemed more pro forma than inspired culinary art.  It was as if the menu designer asked, "What do we need to serve?" instead of "How's this for an idea?".  This is certainly not a one-visit restaurant for us, but could you please put a little more effort into the flavors?  Oh, and with that location, please give us a better view than a storage shed and a chain link fence.
